QEM2021 is the 5th edition of the very successful QEM (Quantative Electron Microscopy) school. It is a 2 weeks school centered around advanced electron microscopy techniques. This edition will be held in Port-Bacarès in the south of France at 350 meter from the Mediterranean Sea from the 9th to the 21st of May 2021.

Participants will learn from renowned experts about for example quantitative crystallography, tomography, electron energy-loss spectroscopy and electron holography. They will put in practice these lectures in form of practical exercises also lead by renowned scientists. The participants will also be able to test a JEOL F2 TEM install for the all duration of the school on their own samples. This school is an opportunity for PhD students and post-docs to develop their skills in transmission electron microscopy and learn how to get the best of it.
